       No one can deny the importance of technology in today's society. It is difficult to find any job or activity that doesn’t require some level of technology to be added to it. In the classroom, many schools and students have one-to-one devices. This has introduced technology into the everyday lives of students. However, a common use of technology hasn’t enhanced the learning process, but only replaced the pencil, paper, and books that would have been used instead (Vahedi et al., 2019).   If you walk down the street and ask if a person has a full right to privacy, most would say that they do. These people would be correct about their physical security. However, when our rights were created, we were in a non-digital age. When it comes to digital rights, it gets a lot more complicated. There is no clear explanation of our rights when it comes to digital access (Gondwe, 2023). It is widely known that everything that is done online leaves a digital footprint. This digital footprint has been hacked or illegally accessed throughout the past few decades.
