Digital Rights
If you walk down the street and ask if a person has a full right to privacy, most would say that they do. These people would be correct about their physical security. However, when our rights were created, we were in a non-digital age. When it comes to digital rights, it gets a lot more complicated. There is no clear explanation of our rights when it comes to digital access (Gondwe, 2023). It is widely known that everything that is done online leaves a digital footprint. This digital footprint has been hacked or illegally accessed throughout the past few decades. It's scary to know that anything you do or say on a digital device could be stored somewhere and accessed by anyone you don't want to know your information. The current law, as written, allows the general public to dictate what is perceived as the digital rights to privacy for individuals.
